2009 Green Jobs Conference
Martin O'Malley, Governor of Maryland, spoke at the 2009 Good Jobs, Green Jobs National Conference.The 2009 Good Jobs, Green Jobs National Conference brought together nearly 3,000 labor, environmental and business advocates to share ideas and strategies for building a new, green economy.
The 2009 Conference was convened by 120 labor unions, environmental organizations, non-profits and businesses, and featured speeches from U.S. EPA Administrator Lisa P. Jackson, Senators Sherrod Brown, Amy Klobuchar and Debbie Stabenow, and UNEP Executive Director Achim Steiner.
The 2009 Conference also featured workshops and speakers the green economy, and the 2009 Green Jobs Expo.
