National Education Association
The National Education Association is the nation’s largest labor union, representing 3.2 million elementary and secondary teachers, higher education faculty, education support professionals, school administrators, retired educators and students preparing to become teachers. NEA’s long-standing commitment to sustainability arose from members’ concern and is rapidly expanding as we partner with non-profits, labor unions, corporations and government agencies to address challenges ranging from green jobs and schools to climate change. We provide resources to members to prepare the workforce of the future to be environmentally literate, while providing members and students a healthy environment in which to teach and learn.
