Concentration: Greening the Manufacturing Sector and Other Industries
Energy efficiency is the cheapest and easiest way to begin achieving our nation's greenhouse gas reduction goals. The domestic glass industry will play a critical role in helping to achieve these goals. Panelists will discuss how the glass industry is forging a strong path in the clean energy economy by manufacturing energy efficient windows, doors, the glass used in solar panels, and how some of our nation's leading glass companies are researching and developing energy-efficient products.
