Training and industry standards are important in developing a thriving residential weatherization industry that creates good jobs. This workshop presents the LIUNA Training and Education Fund’s Weatherization Training Program as a model for national training. Panelists will discuss training and industry standards, competency based curriculum, student-centered and performance-based training, and the importance of standardization across programs and throughout the country.
