Electrifying the US vehicle fleet has the potential to reduce our dependence on oil, cut greenhouse gas emissions, and create quality jobs. However, for electric vehicles to spread outside a niche market, charging infrastructure, public acceptance and vehicle availability must all be addressed. Panelists will discuss best practices for creating all aspects of an electric vehicle economy — from vehicle manufacturing to smart grid technologies.
