How New Supply Chains Can Grow America's Manufacturing Base
Workshop Session II: Tuesday, May 4,
2:30 - 4:00 p.m.
Concentration: Greening the Manufacturing Sector and Other Industries
What are the demands of the clean energy economy, and where do American manufacturers and manufacturing workers fit in the clean energy supply chain? This workshop will examine how new supply chains can grow our manufacturing base. With roughly 8,000 components in each turbine assembly, and component part demands in other clean energy applications, the domestic supply chain must be explored and expanded to meet our future clean energy needs.
