Workshop Proposals for 2012 Good Jobs, Green Jobs Regional Conferences

The 2012 Good Jobs, Green Jobs Regional Conferences will take place between February and May in four regions across the country:

  • Southern Conference, Atlanta, GA, February 23 - 24
  • Western Conference, Los Angeles, CA , March 15 - 16
  • Eastern Conference, Philadelphia, PA, April 3 - 4
  • Midwestern Conference, Detroit, MI, May 10 - 11

The 2012 Regional Good Jobs, Green Jobs Conferences will reflect the character, challenges and opportunities unique to each region and bring the conversation about how to build a green economy to local communities. Convened by a diverse coalition, including emerging small businesses as well as Fortune 500 companies, green industry trade associations, labor unions, environmental organizations, educational institutions, and many others, the Good Jobs, Green Jobs Regional Conferences offer workshop sessions and keynote speakers focused on growing the clean energy economy.

We are now calling for proposals for each of the 2012 Regional Conference workshops and panels.

For purposes of this form, the Regional Conferences are broken down into states in the following fashion:

  • Southern Region - Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

  • Western Region - Montana, Idaho, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, California, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, Nevada, Arizona, Alaska, and Hawaii.

  • Eastern Region - New York, Connecticut, Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Hampshire.

  • Midwestern Region - Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Missouri, Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, and Nebraska.
